Pretty Not

A woman who has just given birth is often expected to be “pretty” again right away. From the delivery room — with friends and family rushing in to see her — to the next phase of her life, that pressure lingers. But just by looking at the fluids and the exhaustion that come with giving life, it’s clear that being “pretty” shouldn’t be a priority.
